Dr. Tysa Taylor began her nursing journey at Southern University of Baton Rouge, building a
career grounded in compassionate service. With over 30 years of experience—from pediatric
nursing to community health—her passion for serving others continues to grow. She earned her
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Texas Wesleyan University and

Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Texas Wesleyan University and now works as a nurse
practitioner for underserved communities, focusing on minority health and chronic illness care.
In partnership with Faith Base Community Nursing through Texas Health Resource, Dr. Taylor
integrates health education with spiritual care. As a published author and ordained minister, she
offers a holistic approach to wellness.
Tysa joined the MetaMedical family in the Fall of 2024. She is more than excited to contribute her healing gifts, passion for healthcare, and her expertise in primary care and wellness. Tysa also looks forward to expanding clientele by meeting each patient where they are to offer a more personal touch in hopes of making healthcare great again!

With over 4 decades of experience in the medical field, she began working with the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Frankie specializes in cardiology, geriatrics, gastroenterology, endocrinology, epidemiology, nephrology, and rheumatology.
Frankie has been the office manager for Dr. Lewis for over 3 years now. She enjoys working with the patients in the community and helping with a variety of services.
